Real ingredients that work
We build our formulas from whole plants—nothing synthetic, nothing filler. Each ingredient earns its place because it does something real for your curls, coils, and waves.
Shea butter
Rich in fatty acids and vitamins A and E. Locks moisture deep into each strand and seals the cuticle without buildup. The backbone of curl definition.
Mango butter
Lightweight and creamy. Adds slip and softness while keeping texture intact. Works with coils without flattening them or leaving residue.
Jojoba oil
Mimics your scalp's natural sebum. Balances moisture without greasing hair or clogging pores. The closest thing to what your hair already makes.
Castor oil
Strengthens from root to tip. Packed with omega fatty acids and amino acids that restore elasticity and reduce breakage in textured hair.
Flaxseed gel
Natural hold and definition without crunch. Supports curl pattern while staying flexible—you get shape and movement, not stiff coatings.
Aloe vera
Soothes the scalp and hydrates each strand. Lightweight moisture that sinks in fast—no residue, pure absorption for thirsty curls.
Marshmallow root extract
A natural slip agent and conditioner. Detangles gently and adds shine while respecting your curl or coil pattern.
Rosemary
Stimulates the scalp and supports hair growth. Antioxidant-rich and aromatic—adds a fresh, botanical scent without synthetic fragrance.
Peppermint
Cools and invigorates the scalp. Improves circulation and pairs with rosemary to create an herbal, energizing experience.
Activated charcoal
Gently purifies the scalp by drawing out buildup and impurities. Clarifies without stripping—ideal for texture resets between washes.
What we never use
Real hair health means being honest about what we leave out. These are the synthetics and fillers that weigh down curls, strip natural oils, and mask what your hair is actually telling you.
No sulfates
Sulfates strip your scalp's natural oils and roughen the cuticle, leaving curls dry, frizzy, and prone to breakage. We cleanse with gentler plant-based actives instead.
No silicones
They coat the hair shaft and make it feel soft for a day or two, then trap moisture and cause buildup. The shine fades and your curl pattern gets buried.
No parabens
Preservatives that mimic hormones and accumulate over time. We use natural preservation and shorter shelf lives instead—fresher is better anyway.
No mineral oil
A petroleum byproduct that sits on the hair surface and blocks moisture absorption. Plant oils like jojoba actually work WITH your hair's chemistry.
No synthetic fragrance
Lab-made scents can irritate the scalp and mask the true botanical aroma of real ingredients. We use essential oils and plant extracts—you smell the real thing.
